Students with Children (SWC) focuses on the concerns of student parents and promoting their interests through connections with community resources, support groups, events, and other student parents.

Lactation Rooms and Support

Rooms for privacy and dedicated space for lactating mothers are available around campus.

Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group

Students, staff, and parents are welcome while pregnant and after the baby is born. This free support group for mothers who choose to breastfeed and is provided by the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Women.

Child Care

UNL Children's Center is an on-campus location for child care. Find additional UNL child care support services here.

Student Health Insurance

Big Red Resilience and Well-being (BRRWB)

Peer-led discussion groups with a well-being coach. If you need direction and balance in your life, set up an appointment.

Financial Well-being

As part of BRRWB, money coaches give free assistance with money matters and financial advice.

Husker Pantry

On-campus resource for food and shelter insecurity services for UNL students. You can pick up food, hygiene and cleaning items, and children needs for free. Items listed on the Pantry's website are not always available, yet they restock often as donations arrive.

Youth Sports

UNL Campus Recreation offers Itty Bitty Sports programs throughout the year for kids ages 3 to 5 years to learn basic sport skills.
